Kimono Fabric and Glass Pendant - Pink and Red Blossoms

Description

This gorgeous piece of vintage kimono fabric has been lovingly chosen and preserved under hand-fired glass. The glass captures and magnifies the light, making this piece really shine. The back has been decorated with Japanese paper, sealed and a silver bail attached to hang a cord or chain through. Each pendant is unique.

The fabric used in this piece has come from a vintage, children's kimono. All of my kimono fabrics are from my collection that I bought in antique markets while I was living in Japan.

The pendant is a bit under 25 x 50 mm (1 x 2 inches), not including the bail. The pendant comes with a complimentary black satin cord with a silver-toned clasp measuring 40 cm (16 inches).

Each pendant comes in a gift tin like the ones in the final picture.

The pendant has been sealed at the back, but still feels a little nervous around large amounts of water. While it is water resistant, please don’t wear this piece while swimming or bathing.
