Set of 9 Steampunk Themed Magnets in Blues and Browns (with large metal tin) - seconds

Description

The designs on these magnets were taken from a magazine clipping and an old greeting card. There are six magnets in blues and blacks, featuring mechanical parts, and three magnets in browns and sepia, featuring a jungle scene. The images on these magnets do not show entirely clearly through the glass beads, so I've lumped them all together as a set of seconds and discounted the price.

Each magnet is constructed from a glass bead, measuring approximately 1 1/2 inches in diameter, though the beads do vary slightly in size and shape, and may contain slight imperfections in the glass. Behind the glass bead is an image from a magazine, mounted to cardstock (or simply a piece of cardstock alone mounted to the bead), and then to a strong ceramic magnet.

The nine magnets come in a repurposed metal film canister, on which someone has written "Grenade Gloves" with black Sharpie. This is the fun of using repurposed materials--you get all sorts of bizarre items. The tin has not been altered in any way, but it's a great way to get nine magnets into a single tin!

(Despite the small size of these magnets, they do weigh a considerable amount, hence the high shipping cost.)
