Airship Comander's Wings

Description

Great Art Deco style; this is the official insignia of the Airship Service.
This particular insignia is for those few who have reached the rank of Commander.
Only airship officers of the rank of Commander and above have propellers on their insignias.

This is a one-of-a-kind, hand made tac pin, with two tacs. The propeller spins. All of the parts of this piece were made by the artist (excluding the tac pin posts & clutchbacks). My signature is on the back and it is copyrighted. The pin measures approx 1 3/4 in long (4.5). This tac pin includes TWO clutchbacks.

For those who are interested in these sorts of things; I made this pin from 7 different pieces of metal (plus the tac pin posts & clutch backs) and used 10 different soldering operations to put it together.
