Holiday Perfection

Description

This outfit is for the Princess who hates dresses, and for the Mom who wants her in something dressy for the holidays.
The richness of this outfit belies the fact that is is not only washable, but constructed from preshrunk fabric so that it is as easy care as her cotton togs.

The top is from vintage fabric from my Mom's stash, simple peasant style dressed up with lace. Of course it is constructed with french seams and enclosed elastic.

The wide ruffle pants are from gold cotton velveteen, soft, and rich to the eye...the photos don't even begin to do them justice! They also feature finished seams and enclosed elastic. The little sash is no longer available in this print, but can be done in the print of your choice. This ensemble would be equally at home on Thanksgiving, Christmas and the rest of the Winter.

I can recreate the top and pants in size 2-8.
