GEM SuperSock - House Unity - hand-dyed superwash sock yarn - 360yds/100g

Description

This is new version of my classic superwash sock yarn - beautiful colours on a soft but hard-wearing base. The perfect treat to yourself.

This yarn is a continuation of a range of dyeing inspired by Harry Potter.

This colourway features splashes of each of the main colours of the four Hogwarts houses. These are the same colours (from the same batch of dye mixes) as my self-striping House Unity sock yarn, but a different dyeing method. Each patch of colour is quite short, so it should be possible (perhaps with a little bit of experimenting) to completely avoid pooling.

I've dyed 2 skeins - both identical, dyed in the same pot - but I've re-skeined one of them so the colours are all mixed up because some people find that this makes it easier for them to visualise how it will look when it's knit up.
