This soft, slinky yarn is made from the remnants of the silk sari weaving. A co-op of Nepalese women gather the bits of fiber that remain when saris are cut off the loom, sort the undyed fibers and recycle them by handspinning a beautiful, undyed yarn. When it comes to my home, I dye it in soft shades.
Every skein is unique and quirky due to the qualities of handspun, recycled yarn.
