The Colors of Fall what marvelous colors! Every year our family tried to take a ride to the mountains to “see the leaves.” That’s what we called our little day trip. We just had to see nature’s patchwork of colors. You could find reds that went from a dark red to something that looked like a salmon color to rust. Then there were other trees that had the gold color. Some of the leaves would have many colors on one leaf, while others still had the touches of green to them. They are beautiful to see every year and to hear the rustling sound as you walk though the fallen ones.

I hope you enjoy the bag that I designed to celebrate the changes in the weather. This would be a great bag to carry for the fall season. And wouldn't it be nice for Thanksgiving? I just love the colors of this one! The bag is made from a “baby” gabardine in a khaki color and the leaves, each done differently, are made from a home decorator material. As I said each leaf is made differently one is an appliqué, another is a reverse appliqué, and the third is reverse embroidery.

The lining is in the same material as the outside and the handles, also. The handles are 24” long, just the right length for carrying on your shoulder comfortably. Last but not least the bag is held closed with a magnetic snap.

This is a wonderful handmade bag that you will surely love to carry for the coming fall season for many years to come.
