Llama, Adorned (original woodblock print)
Description
This lovely llama print is the product of careful hand printing from two separately carved wood blocks. I saw photographs of llamas with brightly colored yarn tied about their necks and with tassels hanging from their ears and was delighted by them. I don't know the back-story. Were these tied to keep them from getting lost in mountainous Nepal? Somewhere in Latin America? Are they loved, beasts of burden (and wool), or both?This llama is most definitely loved. She is from a very limited edition of 16 prints. While the prints among the edition are of equally high quality, expect minor variations, as this is a hand-done process at all stages.
Image size is 7 1/2" x 13".
Should you gift yourself or someone else with this llama, it will be carefully rolled into a protective tube and shipped your way via USPS priority. If shipping to Canada, it will be sent first class/parcel post.
