Measuring 24mm in diameter these Colossal beads are created by weaving size 11/0 Japanese seed beads around a wooden core. In the tutorial I will guide you through the process of creating a beaded bead row-by-row. With colour step-by-step photographs this tutorial is suitable for beginners.

To complete this project you will need:
Size 11/0 Japanese seed beads (Toho or Miyuki) in three colours
A 20mm round wooden bead
A size 10 or 12 beading needle
Beading thread such as C-Lon size D, Nymo, KO etc
A sharp pair of scissors
