Ibis - Lampwork Glass Fish Bead

Description

Ibis, a wonderful lampwork glass fish bead was made exclusively with 104 COE TAG glass except for the eyes and lips. The glass is loaded with silver which gives the fish a beautiful iridescent quality.

The fish measures approximately 1 3/4" x 1 3/8"

I will be donating 1/2 the proceeds from the sale of this and any other fish in my shop in support of the Glass Stock scholarship program. I was fortunate to attend this past summer where I learned this awesome technique from the talented Deb Crowley.

PLEASE NOTE: My lampwork beads are lovingly made by me in my studio in NY. I am a proud member of Self Representing Artists (SRA # 13). I generally use 3/32" mandrels unless otherwise noted. The beads go directly from flame into my digitally controlled kiln where they are annealed overnight for strength and logevity. The holes are thoroughly cleaned of bead release before being sent on their merry way.
