This cup is one piece from a collaborative series with Jacob Raeder. <<< Boy/Girl >>>Porcelain, wheel thrown, with custom ceramic decals
Holds 13 oz. of liquid
P R O C E S S:
The cup was wheel thrown and glaze-fired to cone6. The main glaze is a satin white, with an additional shiny yellow glaze layered on top. The decals were then applied to the surface of the the cup and re-fired to a low temperature for them to adhere.
*All of the decals start as collages and are custom printed with ceramic inks.
I M A G E:
Blondie in a pink crown.
Food/ microwave /dishwasher* safe.
*I recommend washing handmade ceramics by hand, however, on principal.
