Switch it Up Bag Purse Tote PDF Pattern

Description

This lovely bag pattern has so many ways you can “Switch It Up”. It is reversible, adjustable, and much more! This is a great lightweight everyday bag. It can be used over your shoulder, slung across your chest, carried by hand and tied to your belt loop, stroller, etc. The tall and short dividers make even more combinations possible!!!

Pattern options include: short or longer handles, circle or rectangular pocket, short or tall divider pockets, large or smaller size overall.

Finished size:
Larger Bag measures approximately 14” across the width and 12” from the bottom to the opening.
Smaller bag measures approximately 12” wide and 10” from the bottom to the opening.
Handles are up to 24” long EACH.

Materials Needed
1 yd of woven cotton (outer) or upholstery weight for side 1
1 yd of woven cotton (inner) or upholstery weight for side 2
¼ yd coordinating woven or upholstery weight for pocket/dividers
OR
4- ½ yd cuts of woven cotton or upholstery weight in different prints to make every side of the bag a different print!
*Prewashing and pressing your fabric is recommended*

Tools Needed
Thread, iron, Scissors or rotary cutter/mat, Pins, Marking pen *to trace pattern and mark pocket placements*, loop turner, if desired (to turn handles), tracing paper

Pattern was designed by me, Stacy Thompson! This is the first of several patterns I hope to release. The pattern you will receive is a computer drafted pattern that you will need to cut and tape together. Tracing after pieced is recommended :D Instructions are detailed with diagrams to help aid in putting this unique bag together!
