Hand Spun Single Ply Yarn

Here is a hand spun single ply yarn spun by me from hand dyed Falkland wool, dyed by cloudlover69.etsy.com in colorway "Rotten Pumpkin", shades of yellow, orange, and black.

Falkland is "in between" for me as far as softness goes - not as soft/squishy as merino but not as rough as domestic or Romney. The Falkland I get from cloudlover is amazing - spins like a dream for a really nice yarn!

SKEIN 1 : 158 yards, 4.7 oz/135 grams

Wraps per inch: 11-12
Gauge per inch: 5-5.5
Recommended needles: 6-8 (metric: 4.25-4.5)
Recommended hook: F-G

DK/Worsted weight - slightly thicknthin so is right between worsted & DK

Hand wash cold, dry flat
