Vintage Faux Pearl Beaded Collar Necklace

Description

Can't you just see June Cleaver wearing this? Very 1950s or early 1960s. Made with faux pearl glass beads, clear rhinestones (three) and bugle beads in a zig-zag pattern.

Collar measures about 14" long to the point where the two sides cross. Then one side extends about 2", the other side about 2.5". It's about 3/4" wide.

the beads are securely sewn to an off-white satin backing, and it fastens at the back of the neck with two hook-and-eye closures. A fabrid "Made in Japan" tag is sewn to the inside.

PLEASE NOTE: Although it doesn't show in the picture, MUCH OF THE PEARL GLAZING HAS WORN OFF THE BEADS. But it's still really pretty and otherwise in great condition with no missing beads.
