This necklace is extremely versatile, it has many looks. The overall look of the necklace is dark and alluring. Freshwater peacock pearls on handmade sterling headpins are knotted on a 38 inch black waxed linen cord with large 12mm smokey quartz onion briolettes on each end.

This necklace can be worn many ways, as a lariat style (like a scarf) wrapped around twice and tied in front, or my favorite which is not shown, long and tied in the middle with one end longer than the other. I'm sure there are other interesting ways to wear this piece, have fun with it!

This necklace combines elements that are both fancy (pearls and smokey quartz) and casual (waxed linen) and can be worn both with casual and semi formal wear. It has a unique organic feel to it.
