Oh yes...This one is for all the Jane Austen lovers out there. When I created this necklace I had romantic notions of a married Mr. Darcy and Lizzie running through my head. Could this necklace be any more romantic?!
The "Austen" Necklace features an AMAZING vintage (C. 1940's) silver locket/watch/pendant (name brand is "Hawthorne") that features a small watch face on one side and a hand painted 100% authentic (stamped "Limoges", Made in France) porcelain portrait of a 'amiable' young woman. The portrait is stunning with extraordinary detail. The painting really seems like a heroine from a famous romantic novel. Needless to say, I fell in love with this pendant at first sight!
Gone are the days of watch fobs, pocket watches, and little watch brooches...why not stow your wristwatch away and try something classic, timeless, and utterly breathtaking to peek at and see if it's nearing tea time!?

This unique pendant is suspended from a hand fabricated chain of creamy freshwater pearls and a single large coin pearl. The chain of pearls is made entirely by me - each pearl is set on a hand forged headpin and painstakingly linked to the pearl next to it, resulting in a lush, textured neckline!
The Necklace closes with a sleek, oval sterling silver toggle clasp.
NOTE: The watch component seems to be in in EXCELLENT working condition - just remember, it needs to be wound! No batteries in this little vintage treasure!
