The top on this dress is chocolate brown and is Marcus Fabric's 100 percent Oasis Organic Cotton Canvas. It is a lightweight canvas and dyed with eco-friendly dyes-- the dyestuff is free of toxins; dying methods use minimal amounts of energy & resources; workers are provided with safe work areas & fair wages; and process waste is disposed of safely.

Organic cotton is cultivated in fields free of pesticides or chemical fertilizers. To be "certified organic", the plants must have been grown in a field that has been chemical-free for three previous years.

The skirt is 100 percent cotton, is navy blue, and has cute little stars on it. There is a red belt sewn on and a little red bow on the side of the dress.

The dress is a wrap-around kimono style dress with long sleeves. There are no zippers or buttons. It can be worn as a dress or is also very cute over a pair of jeans or tights. I can also make this dress with short sleeves or 3/4 length sleeves if you prefer.
