The Evergreen Necklace is an example of my work that went perfectly from start to finish...a specially-collected array of gemstones to transpose the beautiful palette in my mind into reality. It had to be these *exact* stones and this *exact* design!

I wanted to capture that magical feeling of walking through a crisp, Autumnal woodland - perhaps after a shower of rain - when colors take-on that extra verdant green and the light finds it's way through the evergreen leaves to bounce of the vegetation in that soft, ancient way.

This piece encompasses a lovely feeling of the organic - the shades of natural olive and leaf greens expressing such verdancy amongst the delicately Autumnal shades of Champagne and pale Cognac. The stunning Diamond-set Opal at the centre boasts an internal rainbow which the gems of green and champagne highlight to perfection.

Winding-down from the chain of the necklace, a meandering wirework formation gracefully curls towards the leaf-shaped pendant. Extremely beautiful, hand-finished wirework looks mesmerizing against the sumptuous freshness of the gems.

The two focals - one the amazing Australian Opal set with Diamond in 18k white gold and the other, a large, wonderful Vesuvianite in a most exquisite shade of olive-forest green.

From the curled skirt of the Leaf shape, gems of finest Champagne Citrine dance with Vesuvianite, Peridot, Chatoyant Moonstone and Gold Rutilated Quartz - This piece feels 'alive' and fresh - and it looks nothing short of sensational when worn.

Designed to make the wearer feel 'connected' to nature, 'hopeful' and 'tranquil' - this piece is one of my finest and I'm sure will be greatly treasured.

The draping pendant measures 5.0" in length and the necklace chain fastens at 17".
