corked rug 4.0

Description

so this is the newest in my 'line' of cork rugs. i like to think of it as a 'greener' version (hence the #.0) in the sense that it has a recycled yoga mat as the backing so there is no store bought items used in this rug with the exception of the adhesive. as with the others, it is recycled hand cut wine corks adhered to a recycled yoga mat to help prevent slippage. though granted, it will still move around, it is less likely to with the aide of the mat.

this mat/rug makes the perfect gift for the wine enthusiast, unique-lover and/or yourself!

specs:
this rug measures about 26.5"-27" X 20".
is made of about 352 corks, give or take a few.
has a bleu yoga mat for the backing.
this rug could be displayed in/outdoor, though will probably be happier inside than out. i would keep it away from major water (as in the great outdoors or as a bathmat) as it will warp when mixed with water. it would be nice in a bathroom in front of a mirror however. we love ours in our kitchen and anywhere we stand for a period of time.
to clean, turn up the ends and take outside to shake. rolling back and forth cork-side down is best to get out the little dirts and what-nots that get between the corks. custom sizes and outdoor versions are also available, please let me know before you place your order just to make sure i have all the materials!
