Rainbow dyed 6oz Wool Top Autumn 2

Description

I’m introducing my Autumn Colorway, a series of drab olive top, over dyed with a selection primary colors, applied in a process of rainbow dyeing. Each dye-lot is just a little different, but with the same base top, they co-ordinate and compliment each other. Called Autumn, it is reminiscent of the light and shadows of a deep woodland.

This is a soft wool, free of VM, ready to spin, needle felt, or wet felt. See the yarn in the last picture for a comparison of top to spun, the yarn is available in a separate listing. Personally I think a nuno felted scarf with some of this would be intriguing.

This lot weighs 6oz (170g) and was over-dyed with warm red and yellow and cool yellow commercial acid dyes.
