Mother's Family Tree Pendant Tutorial

Description

This lesson shows how to create a mother’s family tree using birthstone crystals. The birthstones can represent kids, grandkids, entire families – you name it. You will create a frame for the tree and then place the tree inside the frame. As many birthstones as needed can be put on this tree. For example purposes, this tutorial contains 6 crystal birthstones. For variation, you can use gemstone chips to make fuller trees.
Materials:
• 5” of 18 ga Round Soft Wire
• 45” of 24 ga Round Soft Wire
• 6 4mm swarovski bicone crystals
Tools:
• Bent nose pliers
• Round nose pliers
• Flat nose piers
• Wire cutters
• Measuring tape
• Bench Block
• Chasing Hammer
