'Blergh' is hand-painted New Zealand Romeny wool top. This is a soft, squishy, floofy wool that is perfect for spinning or felting projects.

Staple length 3.5-5 inches (80-90mm). Fiber count 48s (32 micron). The staple length, drafting ease and lower cost makes this a wonderful wool to learn how to spin on! It makes a very soft, fluffy yarn with a lovely sheen.

Colors: 'Blergh' has been painted in shades of dark grey, light grey, soft red, and light blue. It's called 'blergh' because I couldn't think of any other name for it. ;)

All of our hand-dyed fibers and yarns are hand painted in my home. If you request a specific colorway, there will be variation from lot to lot based on the dyeing process. No two dyed products will be alike - which is what makes working with hand-painted rovings and yarn so much fun! :)

Please note: all fibers are dyed and processed in our home, with cats, a dog, and a husband. Although we do our best to ensure that no cat or dog hair goes home with you, if you are highly allergic to these animals, you may feel the need to shop elsewhere.

All fiber products are processed in a non-smoking home.

We use only the finest wool top for our dyed 'rovings'. Although each type of fiber has its own unique characteristics, the fibers we choose are all soft, pliable, and perfect for beginners or experienced spinners.

All of our products are hand-dyed using professional grade acid dyes for vibrant, colorfast colors. We steam-set the dyes and double-rinse the fiber to make sure the colors are as set as possible.
