a cool polished exterior and a hideously scary hidden secret interior! the outside, of course is dr jekyll, with a perfectly clean, tailored, inconspicuous look (book case done in black cotton bookcloth over chipboard), while the inside is bloody and splattered and frankly kind of disgusting to look upon, but in a strangly fascinating way (blood is paint, book is white cotton book cloth with machine-sewn ruffles and blood-red endpapers). (^_^) the signatures in the book have different numbers of pages in them, to complete the unbalanced theme, and the endpapers are sewn in for added stability, because mr hyde simply did not want to die. (^_^)

this book measures 5.25 by 8.25 inches (~ 13 x 21 cm) and contains about 220 pages of unlined 32 lb cotton writing paper. about 220 anyway. like i said, unbalanced. (^_^)
