Heart on Your Sleeve - Reflective accessory

As Finland (well, and the rest of the Northern hemisphere) is slowly sinking into the winter darkness, pedestrians are increasingly at risk to get into accidents involving motor vehicles. Safety reflectors and reflective accessories can greatly increase your visibility and prevent those accidents.

As a driver, you probably also very much appreciate pedestrians wearing reflectors. I know I do!

I made this cute reflector by stitching reflective fabric on both sides of a felted heart (so that both sides are identical). It measures about 5 x 5cm (1.97" x 1.97") at its widest parts, and hangs from a pink artificial leather cord. You can pin it onto your clothing or attach it to a strap of a shoulder bag or a baby pram.

Hypoallergenic. This accessory is NOT a toy and should be kept out of reach of small children.

This reflector would make a great Christmas present and show your friends and loved ones how much you care.

A few tips for maximum reflection:

1. For better visibility, attach the reflector so that it can swing freely.

2. The best location of the reflector is around the level of a car's headlights, i.e. around an adult's hip.

3. Wear several reflectors at a time on your outer clothing and shoulder bag.
