Original monoprint - Chandelier in Yellow
Description
This unique monoprint made with wax pastel was based on a blind drawing of a hotel chandelier I did when I was recently in Portugal.Blind drawing is a technique I'm a big fan of - you look at the thing you are drawing and draw it without looking at your page! It frees up your drawing style and gets you really looking at things. Plus, it's always a surprise when you look back down at your page at the end!
This print is in a warm yellow, I wanted to try and mix up colours that I saw in Porto and this custard yellow was everywhere!
The print is made on card meauring 11.75" square, ready to frame.
