Mixed media art doll - Elenna

Description

Elenna, is the second in my new series of handmade mixed media dolls.
These dolls are entirely made by me, I use the needle on my sewing machine to 'draw' the faces with thread and everyting is done by me, by hand, stuffing, beading etc.
Embroidered face and details, she has text from an old novel incorporated into her design, and she wears her big romantic heart clearly for all to see.
With that dreamy far ways look in her eyes, there is no mistake, Elenna is a romantic!

Elenna’s arms and legs are moveable so she may stand or sit supported.
She has embroidered french knots for hair, and her arms are beaded and bead jointed, with flat beads in a beautiful shade of turquoise.
Measuring: 29x8cm approx.

Her message reads:
“But there’s a hope
that lies nearer to my heart”

Please note:
Elenna is not a toy and therefore not suitable for children.
She is rather a collectors piece or ornament.
