Sutured Heart Necklace oxidized silver

Description

About four years ago I designed the sutured heart. Some see this piece as broken and others prefer mended. Originally the heart was sculpted out of fine silver clay and was created as my p.m.c project in school.

This new variation is made with my hands and cast in sterling silver with 2 millimeter silver rollo chain strung through the pendant. Allowing it to move more fluidly, I love how comfortable it is!

pendant measures 1 1/4 in long x 1 in wide and 3/8 at highest point
chain length is available up to 20 inches with a lobster claw clasp. Unless you specify a different length at checkout I will ship the necklace out with a 16 inch chain that is adjustable to 17 inches.

In the past three years since the classic variation was designed I've acquired many new tools and a few more skills. So I was super excited about reworking the back! The stitches look like a ribcage and has more of a beat up texture. I also incorporated mortimer! You may have seen him before, on the back of the "My bloody Valentine" heart. This pendant features my new treatment using pharmaceutical grade sulfur to oxidize the metal. I love the new finish! Plus it is better for the environment!

Possibly your heart is not as dark, then be sure to request that the necklace not be oxidized at checkout.
