This is from an original painting I made that was inspired by the legend of "La Llorona" a spirit that haunts Guanajuato city looking for her children who drowned on the river. It's been a Mexican folklore story for many generations.

This painting was made for the Day of the Dead that is a holiday celebrated in Mexico on Nov 2. The original is made with acrylic paint, collage and india ink.
