Description

This design is drawn free hand onto a wooden disk. It measures 1 3/4 inches (4 1/2 cm) across. One pattern is drawn and then mostly sanded off, then another is drawn in a darker color. This gives the piece a more complex, multi-layered feel for a simple design. It is colored with acrylics and protected with a couple of coats of non-toxic water based varnish. It hangs from a 34 inch natural colored mercerized cotton cord which are anchored by amber glass hearts. The cord is adjustable in length by a wooden bead which acts as a toggle. All beads on the necklace are wooden. A found bronze charm also hangs on one side.
