Shimmerstone Cabochons

Description

Layers of metallic/pearlized colour in a 'superhero suit' red are applied to the back of two glass stones to make stunning, unique cabochons. Everyone who sees these are captivated by the depth and luminescence of the colour. No mere photograph can capture the look of these stones (though I do my best); they must be seen in person. Imagine incorporating these into stitched beadwork, bottle cap designs, magnets, home decor, and the list goes on! When the light hits groups of these, the natural harmony creates a mellow mood. Even holding them in your hand is pleasing and calming.

These stones vary slightly in size; the larger stones are usually around 1 ½ inches (3-4 cm) and the smaller ones range from ½ inch to ¾ inch (15mm to 2 cm) in diameter. The stones here are the small size. See the photo for a better measurement of these particular stones.
