Specimen 3. Globigerina/Merganser on Aspects of the Earth

From my Beastiarium:
Number THREE of TWELVE distinct Specimen designs, reprinted with some new colors and book pages. The first image is a close-up, the second image shows the whole page.

Printed on pages from "Aspects of the Earth" which is a beautiful old book with each page measuring 5.75" x 8."

This is the third in a series of chimera or animal hybrids - this one of a Globigerina (a type of sea shell) and a merganser (a type of duck)- Oceanologists and ornithologists, forgive me. The organic forms growing out of the creature's head are from my imagination.

The inks used in this print run are mostly dark olive greens and browns.

These are mounted on matte board (fastened with artist's tape so you can remount if you prefer when framing). They are sent in a plastic sleeve and a sturdy cardboard envelope.

All Wondercabinet items are made in a clean, smoke-free environment and are shipped with care and love.
