Hand Spun Single Ply Yarn

Here is a hand spun single ply yarn, spun by me from hand dyed Falkland wool, dyed by the Yarn Wench, color "Joni" - shades of deep brownish purple, red, and pink. Falkland is "in between" for me as far as softness goes - not as soft/squishy as merino but not as rough as domestic or Romney. This was spun a little bit thick and thin and is worsted weight.

SKEIN 1 : 110 yards, 4 oz (114 grams)

Wraps per inch: 10-11
Gauge per inch: 4-5
Recommended needles: 7-9 (metric: 4.5-5.5)
Recommended hook: G-H

Worsted Weight (slightly thick n thin)

Hand wash cold, dry flat, should felt.
