I made this beautiful journal/sketchbook entirely by hand from premium, full grain, walnut brown leather. It has a lovely, smooth, tactile feel and a soft sided, wrap-around design with matching strap to protect the pages. Medieval style binding with exposed stitching on outer spine. For an extra special touch, I also added elegant Italian-made end papers.

The open book lays flat, making it easy to use. High quality 50 lb sketch paper, acid free and archival. Pages are hand-torn for old-world feeling. Perfect for writing, drawing with pencil, pen, charcoal and pastel. Paper works well for calligraphy, and for writing with a fountain pen.
