Pattern is written with the advances beginner in mind and makes an excellent first sweater project.

::::::Required Materials::::::
Yarn: Yardages listed are generous estimates. It's always better to err on the side of too much yarn rather than too little. When in doubt, buy the extra skein for insurance. In worsted weight yarn you will need approximately 300 (330, 370, 430) yards for a long sleeved sweater. If you choose a separate color for the border it should be about 20% of your total yardage.

Needles: 16” or longer circular needles and double pointed needles (dpns) in US sizes 8 and 6 or sizes required to obtain gauge.

Notions: Scrap yarn, 4 stitch markers, 1 button (size is your choice, but 3/4” - 1” works well on this sweater), darning needle for weaving in ends.

::::::Techniques & Stitches Used::::::
*Long tail cast-on (or your preferred cast-on)
*Single cast-on (also known as “backward loop cast-on”) or your preferred method of casting on stitches to the right tip of the needle mid-project.
*use of stitch markers
*knit
*purl
*increase (KFB, PFB)
*decrease (K2tog, SSK)
*seed stitch
*bind off
*i-cord
*button loop (tutorial provided)
