Emerald Horse of Another Color Lampwork Focal Bead

It's the Horse of Another Color! Alright, it's green. I don't know why, but I picked up the green glass...I made this little horse using a mottled green glass that shows stripes and spots like marbling. He was made on a 3/32" mandrel and the hole goes up through his hooves so he hangs upright. He can stand on his own feet so he'd be a good collectible for the horse person. Especially if they're into the Wizard of Oz - remember the horses in the Emerald City? They were green! (and a bunch of other colors!)

Crowbirdie Beads are carefully kiln-annealed and made from effetre, moretti, lauscha and vetrofond glass. Since they are made from glass they can be broken or chipped if mishandled, so please treat them kindly. Each one is unique, since I make them each by hand. That last photo shows me at the torch, creating a bead.
