There are four big felt pads on the underside of the bowl to protect your furniture.

RECYCLED ALBUM COASTERS:
The vintage album complete with the time worn look of an album that was listened to numerous times, was used to create the 9 coasters. The jacket is laminated to 3 3/4" by 3 3/4" by 1/2" birch plywood. To protect the unique beauty of the album jacket, the coasters are protected with a clear moisture resistant finish. These unique coasters are a snap to keep clean, just wipe them off with a damp cloth or a disinfectant wipes. Each coaster has 4 felt pads attached to the underside to protect your furniture. Each coaster weighs about 2 and ½ ounces.
