Ginkgo Solitare
Description
A large solitary ginkgo leaf, strung through the center and hanging on an oxidized silver chain makes a simple and striking necklace. It works just as well dressed up or down!The chain measures 17 1/2 inches (44 1/2 cm), if you have any doubts about the length please measure before ordering! Adjustments are free if made before the item is shipped, just include a note in the message to seller section of your purchase!
The leaf is cast by hand from my own original sculpture in cold cast bronze. The process mixes powdered metal with resin, to create a cast that finishes like metal. Because this piece is cold cast rather then true bronze cast, it should be treated with more care as it is more fragile - perfectly sturdy for daily wear but a long fall onto a hard surface is may cause it to break.
