Spun Cotton Vintage Inspired Illusionist Moon Man Ornament

Description

Is this the man in moon or the faces of two lovers? Look closely and this moon man's face reveals something you may not have noticed at first.

He hangs as an ornaments and has a spun cotton body, hand spun using techniques similar to those of the early German artisans who created cotton ornaments for Christmas. He has a paper scrap head taken from an early Victorian post card, crepe trousers with a tinsel belt, antique bead buttons and a millinery flower brooch. He is about 5" tall, holds a hand-sculpted, hand-painted skull candy bucket and hang as an ornament. He's the perfect size for your Halloween feather tree!
