VINTAGE KITTY.. PRETTY PARTY DRESS.... these pieces are pretty fly-away designs with loads of frills, ruffles, laces, vintage and modern, crochet and anything else that grabs my fancy..!

this dress is a mixture of candyfloss and marshmallow colours... pastel pinks, blue, lilac and mauves... vintage style laces, hand stitched and crocheted vintage doilies, hand dyed crochet cloth, layers of pleated chiffon, and a whole garden of flowers adorn the neckline and are scattered over the rest of this cute dress...

the skirt part is layers or hand dyed crochet, with a front overlay of beautiful mauve floral stretch lace.. under the bust, there is a wide elasticated floral lace sash attached , that ties in the back to give a beautiful silhouette.. the top crochet layers are wavey at the hemline, the bottom layer of slip and chiffon ruffles is longer and raw edged.. gorgeous deeper mauve...

the dress is stretchy as it has been created from a vintage stretch petticoat/slip which becomes the lining...

recycled and re-designed to create a beautiful one-off creation... the edges are raw and fraying to add beautiful character as well as giving it a bit of an edge of difference...

these gorgeous dresses are one of a kind... no two alike.. its a very funky party dress, or for a special ocassion, prom, birthday or garden party.... they also look fab over jeans or tights for a really different edgy look...


due to the nature of the stretchy slip used as a base, this dress can fit a range of sizes , best fit for this dress is MEDIUM, may fit a smaller size LARGE, or would be a bit looser on a size SMALL..... measurements given are lying flat unstretched one side only, so double for full measurements...


across the bust, unstretched side to side is about 19inches (48 cm), under the bust at the narrowest point, it nips into about 17 inches unstretched.. (43cm)
side to side at the hips about 19 inches unstretched (48 cm), so double that for full circumference...

shoulder to hemline is about 42 inches (107cm)
