There is always something very magical to me in these pendants. Not matter how many times I use this combination of glass it is always a little different.

I've used black glass as a base, rolled it in a frit (tiny pieces of glass) called RAKU, then covered it with swirls of a mushroom colored glass. By heating the bead in different ways I'm able to get the raku frit to turn lots of different colors---you'll see yellow, greens, apricot, a lot of blue, and purple in this particular piece.

The bead measures 1" high x 1.25" wide. I've hung it on a large oxidized sterling ring. The chain is gunmetal steel that of course closes with the lock & key toggle. It's 18" but I'm happy to resize it if you'd like.
