goofy pumpkin leather handbound book

Description

the dimensions for this silly halloween handbound journal are a little over 4 3/4" x 6", and about 1 3/4" thick at the spine and 1" at the open end when lying on its back.

the leather is an awesome dark brown mottled deerskin with scars all over. there is a flap that wraps from the back to the front in the lower corner, and in the middle of that i have cut out a chunky "H" for "halloween"! the center of the front cover has an adorably dorky looking pumpkin face "carved" out of it. with the yellow paper beneath, it almost looks like it's glowing with candlelight!

the paper used is crisp georgia-pacific acid-free 110lb white card stock with each signature wrapped in nice yellow paper. there are 13 (oooooh!) signatures of 4 sheets each, to make a grand total of 208 pages. the signatures were stitched together with black lightly waxed 4-ply linen thread using the long stitch method. as a result, the pages will lay flat and you can write all the way into the margins!
