I am delighted to debut my silhouette art here on etsy! This listing is for "Young Miss Amelia", a handmade folkart silhouette featuring the silhouette of a young girl. I love that you can just imagine Amelia's personality and lovely little face, just from the silhouette.The silhouette is painted onto a 3x5" wooden plaque with a brown ribbon attached for hanging and cream colored lace edging.
The silhouette is hand painted and done free-hand, no stencil used here! Because of this traditional method, no two silhouettes will ever be exactly alike.
