Gazelle with White Tubing

Another variation of the Gazelle side table I’ve been working on for the last six months or so. Combining metal with wood is something I really like yet haven’t done as much as I wanted to. I stumbled upon both a tube bender and a guy who powder coats small batches with no questions asked. Not being one to ignore good fortune I set out to use both of them to my advantage. This is the result.

This Gazelle stands 21 inches high. The top is nearly 16 inches in diameter. I’ve used Maple Ply for this Gazelle. The top is 2 inches thick and the bottom and back shelves are 1 inch thick. All varnished for durability and for its minimum odor.

The tubing is powder coated white as are the bolts holding it all together.
