Textile art doll - Volentina

Description

Volentina, is inspired by my handmade mixed media dolls.
Embroidered face and details, she has lovely ‘leg o’ mutton’ arms in the style of the old Victorian dolls.
These dolls are entirely made by me, I use the needle on my sewing machine to 'draw' the faces with thread and everyting is done by me, by hand, stuffing, beading etc.
Romantic and clearly in love, Volentina wears her heart clearly for all to see.
Her arms and legs that are moveable so she may stand or sit supported.
She has hand stitched running stitch for hair, and her arms are beaded and bead jointed, with beautiful turquoise beads for decoration around her head, and tiny gold beads around her ankles.
Measuring:28x8.5cm approx.

Please note:
Volentina is not a toy and therefore not suitable for children.
She is rather a collectors piece or ornament.
