Ohio Red Buckeye and Migun Bead Good Vibrations Bracelet

This bracelet is an original design, created and hand-crafted by me. I will make more, but I am always careful to make sure that each bracelet is unique so that you can always be sure that what you have on your arm is one of a kind.

The nuts on this bracelet came from the Ohio Red Buckeye tree (Aesculus pavia). I love their color and texture. They have a bulky look to them, but are very lightweight because the nut is hollow. They make a nice rattling sound on the bracelet. Other bracelet elements and their meanings: Labradorite - Enhances intuition and perception. It helps the bearer to release judgment, and understand their destiny. Garnet - Vital power and energy, vitality and strength, and increases sensuality. Given as a gift garnet symbolizes true and never-ending love and devotion. Garnet invokes and releases ones creative ability and inner fire.

This bracelet is packed with goodies to make you feel good. The copper and buckeyes are said to stave off rheumatism and the Migun beads (very dark brown faceted beads) possess negative ions, which improve one's overall sense of well being and enhance the body's ability to heal itself. There are also Labradorite and Swarovski crystals, to please the eye, as well as copper bells to please the ear.

I collected the buckeyes from our Buckeye tree and made them into beads. Then I added copper eyelets to the outside of the holes to give them a finished look. The other beads are accented with handmade ball headpins and copper stars. Each buckeye measures roughly 25mm in diameter (give or take a few mm).

To balance the organic nature of the buckeyes and fire element of the copper, I added the earth element of grossular (green) garnet and water element of Labradorite.

Finally, there are the Migun beads. Each bead measures 7mm. The Migun stones are formed from a special composite of six minerals (feldspar porphyry, germanium, precious serpentine, tourmaline, zeolite, and ceramic) and baked at 2460˚ which crystallizes them. Each Migun bead emits negative ions. Studies show that negative ions cleanse and alkalize the blood, regenerate cells, purify the air, and affect the autonomic nerves to balance the function of the internal organs.

This bracelet closes with a lobster claw clasp and a sealed, handmade copper rope, jump ring. Total length is 21cm or 8". I recommend measuring your wrist with a piece of string to ensure this bracelet will fit. I'll happily lengthen or shorten it at no extra charge if you need it. Because there is so much on this bracelet, it seems to run small. I usually wear a 7, but it fits me fine.
