Sunflowers Beaded Bouquet

Description

Bright yellow sunflowers are planted in a tin bucket with a "Sunflowers" label. The flowers are vintage plastic beads with glass centers, seed bead stems and base metal embellishments underneath. The flowers are joined by a glass butterfly in red, black and yellow. The flowers are permanently planted in sand and resin.

This charming bouquet is sure to brighten up your desk. It measures just over 4 inches tall (including flowers) and about 2 1/2 inches wide.

What are Beaded Bouquets? They are small bouquets handcrafted with flower and leaf beads of materials such as Lucite and Czech glass. Think of them as jewelry for your desk! The Beaded Bouquet story began with the first one I made for a friend as a thank-you gift. I had no plans to make any more, but after she displayed it on her desk, I had many requests, and so the Beaded Bouquet was born! The design is my own.

Each Bouquet is different. All have been permanently arranged in their vases, which range from antique jars and bottles to tiny watering cans. Each bouquet has its own resident “critter”. They look lovely placed on windowsills and many of them are heavy enough to serve as paperweights.
