Quilted oven mitt, fresh from the sewing room! I can't singularly claim that I made up the design of the oven mitt, because let's be honest, it's been around for a long long time. But I can say that I've taken the traditional oven mitt and tried out a bunch of styles. I then took the qualities I liked from others and made my own pattern and applied my own style to the quilting and fabric choices.

So voila! Here's what I like in an oven mitt....a longer length, covers more of your wrist AND a longer thumb so it stays on when you're reaching into the oven, and pretty fabrics in combinations that make them cooly modern.

Made with 100% cotton outer fabrics, cotton muslin lining, and Insulbright thermal batting throughout. Do not place in the microwave. Mitt measures 11 1/4" long, 6 1/2" wide at the cuff, so it's around 12 1/2" in the opening...men can use these! Machine wash cold, either lay flat to dry or toss in the drier.
