Forsyth Park Fountain - a Savannah Print by Heather L. Young
Description
The Forsyth Park Fountain print is part of my Savannah Fountain series. The print measures 8x10 inches and comes ready to frame in a black mat and clear plastic sleeve. Each print is printed with the finest archival inks and has the following historical information on the back:"The idea for Savannah's first recreational park was conceived by William Brown Hodgson in the 1840's. Forsyth Park is named for John Forsyth, former Governor of Georgia, Minister to Spain, and Secretary of State of the U.S. The fountain and radiating walkways were added to the park in 1854."
