Vintage Pearly Cuff

A sumptuous feast of materials, buttons and beads.

I've been looking through my stash of supplies recently and finding lots of vintage items that I've just been dying to use for ever but never got round to it. Well I did for this item!

This cuff bracelet is a collage of ribbon, vintage lace and materials hand stitched onto a shaped canvas base.

Next a variety of buttons beads and sequins were sewn onto the surface with hand embroidered french knots added into the mix to create extra texture.

A blanket stitch edging is used to securely attach a cream felt backing, and it is finished off with cream metal eyelets and ivory satin lacing cord.

This bracelet measure 7" long but with the lacing can be made much wider. At it's widest point it measures 3".
