Classically styled chunky shrug, very easy and quick to knit on large needles. This pattern is the perfect answer for using leftover yarns from your stash, or any combination of bulky/chunky yarns that appeal to you. The picture shows one that I made using 4 different batches of my handspun wool yarns, with a controlled-random impressionistic palette creating a lovely color sweep. Since I used lofty wool yarns, this is a cozy shrug that is airy enough for cool summer evenings, or you can go with chunky cotton yarns for something more summery for warmer climates.

This pattern includes photos and plainly written instructions. It is a single page for economical printing.

Simple size adjustments are included in the instructions. You will need about 18 ounces of yarn (approx. 350 yds if you're using a single strand of chunky weight) size 15 and 17 knitting needles and a 24-inch size 15 circular needle.
